Portfolio

The following are a sampling of projects where I have either been the team/technical lead or senior developer:

NAVEX Global

NAVEX Global is a company that provides ethical and compliance programs for thousands of clients around the world.  Working closely with their business development team, we created a website that met their demands, including:

  • Robust course and video library
  • Deep integration with 3rd party CRM system to track potential and existing customers
  • Solr based search pages to provide relevant results to users
  • Multilingual capabilities that provides locale specific content and translations

Oregon Convention Center

New build that changed structure of site from the ground up with it's functional responsive design, and deep integration with the Center's business manage software.

Oregon Metro

This new website for Oregon Metro was the result of a huge information restructuring for our local government. Their editors and publishers therefore needed a powerful moderation system, including granular access control, state workflow for editing/publishing, and ability to stage important content.  Also provided multilingual capabilities for translating content into over 15 different languages.

Mentor Graphics - Verification Academy

A robust training and verification hub for Mentor Graphics software, Verification Academy provides users the tools necessary to learn and develop their skills with Mentor Graphics technologies.

  • Forum with thousands of active users and advanced moderation and notification systems.
  • Video based learning courses that tracks students progress.
  • Advanced user approval process for on-boarding users to participants on site.

Car Talk

Helped upgrade the server support for this massively popular website to handle the ever increasing web traffic, including setting up a CDN and Load Balancer, as well as a reverse proxy cache using Varnish. Also implemented a new mobile website to support smartphone users.

Stand for Children

Stand for Children is a national advocacy group for children's education, with headquarters in Portland, OR. Working closely with their in-house development team, we created a robust website that allowed their team to increase engagement with their donors. Some of the unique features of the site:

  • Locale specific content with siloed editing teams for different state offices
  • Multilingual capabilities
  • Online petition tool (linked up to SalesForce) that allows for rich engagement with participants

Paramount Pictures

Created a light and simple responsive site that uses HTML5 technologies such as push-state navigation, video, and 3D transformations.
